Chris and Maya and IMAX

Me and some friends went to see a ten-a-clock showing of J.J. Abram's Star Trek the other night (it was a reshowing, and only about 10 people other than the five of us were in the entire theater). It was great. We kept giving commentary and talked a lot and had a lot of fun. When the secondary credits began to roll, we all went up to do hand puppets on a HUGE scale. Then I got an idea for a photo, so I told them to stand in front of the projectors and have it project the lines of the credits onto their heads and had them pose. Snapped a couple of pictures in the camera app, but I went over to Hipstamatic and managed to get a better shot as well as have the colors look neat and such. I used the Blanko film with the John Smith lens with no flash.


Also after the photos and such, we began to leave the theater and walk around the mall it was in once the screen went all black and we couldn't do hand puppetry any more. When we were exiting, the screen was still off, but it began to play advertisement audio, and in this ad, a woman stated her name and "and I'm a screen writer". It scared the crap out of me and I exclaimed to this woman "AND YOUR A GHOST AAAAAAAAAAAAHH". This was loud enough that everyone in the whole entire establishment must've heard me.
Then after that, we walked around the mall, and all the stores were closed (it was 1AM). We decided to act like it was "Dawn of the Dead" and we ran around, pretending to shoot guns at zombies.
And it was glorious.
